&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item><item><title>re: Transferring files via Remote Desktop</title><link>http://blogs.inetium.com/blogs/dmork/archive/2007/10/03/transferring-files-via-remote-desktop.aspx#6837</link><pubDate>Thu, 04 Oct 2007 18:49:24 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">7346ef18-9fb1-4a4e-be41-9add5078176c:6837</guid><dc:creator>vbullinger</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;Yeah, I do this all the time (never used the multiple display one, though). &amp;nbsp;It's great. &amp;nbsp;I think this should be done by default, though. &amp;nbsp;One more thing I like to do, though, is save the rdp instance. &amp;nbsp;On the general tab, there's an option to save the rdp connection. &amp;nbsp;In the last version (not the latest version) of MSTSC, there was a way to save credentials - user name, password and domain - not just the computer. &amp;nbsp;I saved all this in files in a folder I call Remote Connections on my machine. &amp;nbsp;It's filled with tons of connections to all remote computers I've worked with on all projects I work with (there are 30 files in that folder!). &amp;nbsp;So, whenever I need to connect to a machine, I just double-click it and I'm in. &amp;nbsp;No need to remember any of the connection information again, nor to always have to remember to click the drive(s) I want made available to the remote machine.&lt;/p&gt;
