Any way to "bulk edit" the owner of prospects? The owner field is disabled on the bulk edit form....

..We are looking to import prospects in bulk and then re-assign them to various individuals. Any other known way to do this?

Hi,

Why can't I edit the Company (parentcustomerid) field in Contacts, which is a Lookup field.

Why can't I edit any lookup fields using bulk edit?

These fields are grey out

Would be nice to do the bulk edit for products. I have a huge list of products provided by a particular vendor that I can get from advanced find, but can't bulk edit :-(

Has anyone got the new adapter patch to work with 4.0

The hot-fixed BizTalk Adapter for 3.0 authenticates just fine.

In attempting to “Add Generated Object” to a solution in visual studio,

choosing Add Adapter Metadata, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, specifying my send Port and logging in,

I am offered, as expected:

+ Microsoft Dynamics CRM Actions

+ Microsoft Dynamics CRM Entities

Upon expanding and selecting Actions, I obtain results.

However, upon expanding any Entity selection, I get a NOT FOUND error.

UNFORTUNATELY! You are correct - The feature got cut during release of the RTM code. I have not received any justifications as to why it got cut but my guess is that they found data corruption issues during regression testing (speculation only). A little birdie says that some blogs will be coming from Microsoft on how to still accomplish this feature even though the option does not appear when exporting to Excel.

Very exciting improvements. Email-to-case is much-needed. Plug-ins for event pipeline are also nice.
